Silver at international competition

30 November 2024

Over 200 judokas from >20 different countries competed at the Luftfahrt Masters in Berlin. I fought in the open age class, made it to the finals after 2 wins and then lost narrowly, becoming 2nd.

Transfer Learning with CNNs

26 November 2024

I programmed 2 projects about transfer learning for CNNs PyTorch, e.g. one to label images of ants and bees accurately with a small target-dataset, and wrote this article about my experiments.

Bronze at judo team competition

16 November 2024

With my judo team, we fought in a large tournament with 8 different teams, made it through the pool phase but then sadly lost narrowly by one fight in the semi-finals, becoming 3rd.

Knowledge Distillation in CNNs

14 November 2024

I transferred knowledge from a larger to a smaller convolutional neural network (CNN) with 3 different techniques following the PyTorch tutorial and wrote this article about my experiment.

ANN driven robot with no libraries

13 November 2024

Using Spike from Lego, I built a simple robot and then programmed a fully functional ANN with reinforcement learning from scratch with no libraries, just pure math, to make it autonomous.

Gold at 2 national judo competitions

9 November 2024

After 2/2 wins, I won gold at the Altmarkmeisterschaften (≈200 competitors) and a week later with 4/4 wins also at the Bördetiger-Cup (≈130) + award for best technique of the tournament.

Dealing with limited data in ANNs

26 October 2024

With days of research, I wrote a 40-minute long article about different techniques to combat limited and noisy data in neural networks. If interested take a look here.

Grappling seminar with legend Gokor

9 September 2024

Armenian Gokor Chivichyan, a legend in martial arts and trainer of UFC fighters, came to Germany for a short 2-day Seminar, which I attended with a couple friends.

Buildspace S5 2024 - Cenabot

30 August 2024

For the last season of buildspace n&w, I was part of Spectreseek and built an autonomous food delivery robot, using an ANN to navigate its surroundings and bring snacks to my laptop.

Finishing Harvard's CS50AI Course

4 August 2024

After a few long nights, I managed to complete Harvard Universitie's Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Course, with all my projects documented in this GitHub Repo, earning this certificate.

CNN for labelling traffic signs

3 August 2024

As part of CS50AI, I programmed a CNN to label traffic signs with more than 85% accuracy using the german traffic sign recognition benchmark as the dataset. Take a look at the code in this GitHub Repo.

Bronze at international competition

9 June 2024

850 competitors fought in a giant international judo competition. I managed to win every fight in my large weight class until I lost after a long match in the semifinals, becoming 3rd.

Microsoft Challenge

6 June 2024

In a team of 4, we became finalists and presented our recommendation of modular datacenters to Microsoft Azure, addressing its rapid scaling problem. Take a look at our recommendation deck if interested.

Comma.ai Calibration Challenge

25 May 2024

I solved Comma.ai's calibration challenge to predict car movement in videos with >25% error given a tiny noisy dataset. Look at this article I wrote for more details and this GitHub Repo for the code.

Sanavo - Drug Delivery

7 May 2024

Natan Kramskiy, Cambridge undergrad Arnav Khanna and I developed a new chemotherapy approach for braincancer using nanogels for precise drug delivery, more on our website.

YSI Chapter Leader of Germany

25 April 2024

In April, I joined a large global organization of young STEM interested students, Youth STEM Initiative, as a researcher in AI and ANNs before I became its chapter leader of Germany half a year later.

Autonomous Car Simulation

18 March 2024

I simulated a simple autonomous car driven by a neural-network in a small virtual world with basic physics using no libraries, just pure math, and wrote this article about that project.

Google Challenge

16 December 2023

In a team of 4, we acted as consultants and proposed two recommendations to Google about improving internal communication. Take a look at our recommendation deck if interested.

Global Hackathon Finalists

14 October 2023

In a small team, we became finalists in my first ever global virtual hackathon, with the prompt to solve an important real problem using an emerging technology, like AI or Blockchain.
